ORGANISATION: MANAGEMENT PROCESS / ELEMENT OF MANAGEMENT



Organization is another major important activity of Management Process.

Organization, itself is a group of dedicated people regarding certain specific pre stipulated set of Goals in an industrial or business enterprise.


Louis A Allen defined as, “Organization is the process of identifying and grouping works to be performed, defining and delegating the responsibility and authority and establishing the relationship for the purpose of enabling people to work most effectively together in accomplishing objectives”.


Few of the major activities involved in Organization in a business or industrial enterprise are as given below:


Ø    Activities that is important for the achievement of pre determined objectives in the Organization,
Ø    Further division of these activities into sub categories or activities,
Ø    Proper and systematic assignment of the above mentioned activities to the workers or employees,
Ø    Ensure overall cordial and friendly relationship among other employees, 
Ø    The organization should have Rights & Duties pre defined for each & every worker or employee.

Hence, organization should have established total effective authority relationship among the workers or employees and work place in respective order so that efficiency in work is achieved, so that goals are reached in predetermined time and sequence.
