Management Process is a set of systematic process for the achievement or accomplishment
of pre stipulated set of Goals for an industrial or business enterprise. The
overall success of any industrial or business enterprise depends on the total
combined efforts of each and every individual as per the given resources of the
respective unit.
In other words, we may say that “Management Process” or “Process
of Management” is getting work & things performed, as is being
assigned to the different individuals of the organization for the achievement
or accomplishment of the Goals or Objectives.
As it has been very specifically defined by George R. Terry a prominent author in the field of management,
“Management Process is a distinct process consisting of planning, organizing,
actuating and controlling, performed to determine and accomplish the objectives
by the use of people & resources”.
Basically the Management Process or Process of Management
assimilates all the major inter related activities. Various management experts
have proposed different management process depending upon their personal
understanding and approach. Thus management process can be summed up in
